Taking our Training Course1. Sign up and comfirm your space in class with your payment. 2. The training course will require a minimum of 10 hrs. It includes a written examination and a shooting practical. You must pass both with a score of 70% or better. a. The written exam covers law, nonviolent conflict resolution, and handgun use and storage. It is Not simply about shooting. b. The shooting practical requires you to fire fifty rounds from a handgun of .32 caliber or greater, including 20 shots at 3 yards, 20 shots at 7 yards and 10 shots at 15 yards. If you qualify with a semi automatic, you will be able to carry any legal handgun including semi automatics and revolvers. If you qualify with a revolver, you will only be qualified to carry a revolver or derringer and NOT a semi automatic. Class Fees- 2 Pass Port type photos / ID photos. (Can be obtained from Walgreens or CVS Pharmacy's)

You will need additional rounds if you fail to qualify the first time. 3 Eye and ear protection (MUST BE SAFTY GLASSES & MUFFS) If your wear eye glasses that will work but wear a cap, just a thought you might want to wear protective eye wear over your glasses to keep them from getting dusty and scratched. WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE CLASS ROOM 4. Your drivers license or state issued ID card 5. Your 2 Passport type photos 6. For new students a packet will be provide, renewels should have a packet. 7. You can bring your pistol in the class room but keep it in the box or bag AT ALL TIMES! Just a reminder Brass from a handgun is hot. Please wear clothing that will not permit this brass/shell casings from lodging in your shirt. Wear shoes that cover your feet. A shell casing hitting your foot is hot and distracting! Also wear a brimmed cap which will away from your face. Don't forget your eye and ear protection. Great News As you may know the C.H.L. briefing starts at 8:am out at Hotwells shooting range. I recomend getting there early I would say around 7:45 and 8:00 and have some great gourmat coffee provided by CITY BREW COFFEE @ www.citybrew.com 13740 Cypressnorth Houston and Huffmeister rd. 832-912 1919..Water is provided as well and if you would like something to eat we have great Donuts and Kolaches provided by Southern Maid Donuts in the same center as the store. As for the classroom we have a 9000 Sq foot space complete with very nice clean restrooms. More coffee and water as well as a variety of sodas. Lunch is a great food provided by El-Charros Mexican Cantina in the same shoping center as Pruett's Guns & Ammo. See you in the class Eric Pruett
